BPSC Head Teacher Recruitment 2022: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will close the application window for Primary School Head Teacher posts on May 2, 2022. Candidates who have not applied yet can visit onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.

The recruitment drive is for 40,506 headmaster posts in primary schools of Bihar Education Department and 13,761 posts are reserved for female candidates.

दिव्यांगजन अधिकार अधिनियम 2016 के आलोक में निःशक्तता से ग्रस्त उम्मीदवारों के लिए (4%) आरक्षित कुल पदों की संख्या- Total number of posts reserved for disabled candidates (4%) in the light of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016

Eligibility

Candidates must be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar.
Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks is required.

DElEd/BT/BEd/BAEd/ScEd/BLEd degree with TET qualification (those who were appointed before 2012 should have passed the proficiency test).

Note: 

1. Must be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar State.
2. Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized universityscar. 5% relaxation will be given in minimum prescribed marksSC/ ST/ EBC/ BC/ Differently abled/ Female and candidates belonging to EWS.The degree of 'Alim' obtained from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University, Shastri degree from Patna/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and KameshwarSingh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be treated as equivalent to graduation.
3.  D.El.Ed/B.T./B.Ed./B.Ed./8. Sc.Ed/B.El.Ed.
4. To have a qualified teacher eligibility test for the appointed teachersYear 2012 or later and teachers who have been appointed earlier2012 Must have qualified proficiency test.
