3. Nautical Faculty Passenger Ship/ Nautical Faculty Oil, Chemical & Gas Tanker

Holding COC of Master Mariner (Foreign Going Ship) issued by DG Shipping with 1 year of experience.

4. Radio Officer/ Faculty
Holding COP Second Class/ General Class of Radio Officer issued by Ministry of Communications, New Delhi.
Holding valid GMDSS GOC Certificate issued by the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and 5 years experience.

5. Naval Architect

Graduate in Naval Arch from AICTE registered colleges.

6. Academic Faculty

Mandatory Master's Degree in respective branch and With 3 years experience.

7. Instructors

Deck Petty Officer OR from Ex Indian Navy Seaman Branch OR Engine Petty Officer OR from Ex Indian Navy Engineering Branch.

Shipping Corporation of India Faculty and Instructor Age Limit

The age of the applicant for the post of visiting faculty should not be more than 72 years as on 1st December 2022 as per DGS Guidelines.
The age of the applicant for the post of full-time contract faculty should not be more than 70 years as on 1st December 2022.
The age of the applicant for the post of Instructor should not be more than 65 years as on 1st December 2022.
