The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) notice mentions that the duration of Paper 1 exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and the duration of Paper 2 exam is 3 hours. Jharkhand TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification for Jharkhand TET I

Class

• Class 1st to 5th (Primary Teachers)

Educational Qualification

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appeared in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Candidates who possess “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible to become Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, Education of Children with Special Needs within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher

Academic Qualification for Jharkhand TET-II

Class 

• Class 6th to 8th (Upper Primary Teachers)

Educational Qualification

• Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of 2- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

• Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Jharkhand TET Exam Pattern 2024

The Teacher Eligibility Test is based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries a 01 mark. There is no negative marking for this exam. The Exam duration is said to be 2 hours 30 minutes and the number of questions is 150.

Jharkhand TET Answer Key 2024

The Jharkhand TET Answer Key 2024 will be released after few days after the exam is conducted. The Candidates can check the answer key and raise objections if they have any issue with the answers, then authorities will rectify and release the final answer key. After the final answer key is released no objections will be considered.

Jharkhand TET Result 2024

The Jharkhand TET Result 2024 will be released, on the official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The Jharkhand TET Exam consists of two papers i.e., Paper 1, Paper 2. The Paper 1 is for Primary Teacher and Paper 2 is for Upper Primary Teacher. The Cut Off Marks for different categories are provided in the below table.
